Coral Gables Residents
Find out about upcoming events and offerings designed especially for our Coral Gables neighbors. This special programming is part of our Development Agreement with the City. Past events have included lectures by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the Dalai Lama His Holiness Tenzin Gyatso, Admiral Michael G. Mullen, and a concert by the United States Marine Band.
Health & Wellness
Each year thousands of patients come to University of Miami Health System (UHealth) for specialized medical care and UHealth doctors are recognized among the nation’s most respected. Patients receive care in top-ranked facilities including our flagship University of Miami Hospital as well as our specialty hospitals Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
UM is proud to partner with the Miami Dolphins each year for the Dolphins Cycling Challenge (DCC), a two-day, tri-county community cycling event. The DCC is dedicated to raising funds for lifesaving cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The Life Science & Technology Park is a vibrant urban research park located in Miami’s Health District featuring mixed use facilities with labs, offices, retail shops, restaurants, and industry-leading amenities. The park is also home to the Miami Innovation Center, offering office, co-working, conference, and R&D space.
The Herbert Wellness Center offers a series of classes and programs ranging from fitness and nutrition to stress management. From massage therapy sessions to Pilates, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Community Programs are open to anyone, regardless of membership status. Reservations are required and costs vary, depending on the class.
