The Mission of the William R. Butler Center for Volunteer Service & Leadership Development is to serve as a catalyst in developing students who cultivate positive social change within their communities as engaged citizens. Acting as a clearinghouse for all service and leadership endeavors, the Center strives to develop synergistic partnerships within the faculty, campus, local and global community to bring these fundamental concepts to fruition and integrate them further into the campus experience.

The CEW is guided by the vision of the School of Education to be a center of excellence in the promotion and integration of educational, psychological and physical well-being in multicultural communities. The mission of the School of Education is to produce knowledge and train the next generation of leaders, researchers, and agents of change in education and the community. The vision of the Center is to become an international and interdisciplinary center for the study and promotion of community and educational well-being. The mission is to prevent educational, psychological, physical, and social problems and to promote well-being in individuals, relationships, organizations, and communities through interdisciplinary research, university-community partnerships, professional development, and consultation.

College of Arts and Sciences Center for the Humanities
The College of Arts and Sciences Center for the Humanities at the University of Miami is dedicated to supporting humanities, arts, and interpretive social science research and teaching, as well as to bringing to the Miami community an awareness of the importance of the humanities for a more informed understanding of our own and other cultures. Through lectures. conferences, seminars, and workshops, scholars will present their work, elicit critical responses, and stimulate public awareness and debate about the humanities. The goal of the Center is to provide mutual understanding among groups and cultures, provide support for research in the humanities, and enrich the intellectual culture of the university and community.

Edward H. Arnold Center for Confluent Media Studies
The mission of the Edward H. Arnold Center for Confluent Media Studies (ACCMS) is to initiate cross-disciplinary, educational, media campaigns and create a media platform highlighting the global impacts of major research and innovation conducted at the University of Miami. The Arnold Center provides a high-tech collaborative environment which attracts faculty and students from various backgrounds and encourages them to get involved in interdisciplinary media and digital content creation projects.
